Open Sea
I was inspired to write Open Sea one day driving home listening to Oh, Sleeper. Micah’s lyrics are just so well written, like a story. I hope to one day write songs similar to his style. Open Sea is pretty much a metaphor about my conversion to Christianity 3 years ago. A Captain and his sailor’s stuck in the Open Sea, with storms surrounding them about to die. They have no one around...
